• DIRECTIONS:
The venue, Platform4, is located in the former industry complex, “Østre Havn”, in downtown Aalborg.

By car:
Coming from the south on highway E45, drive off the highway at the off ramp towards ‘Aalborg C’ and drive towards the city center through two roundabouts on ‘Øster Uttrup Vej’. When reaching the highway overpass, turn left down to the highway and follow the road that turns into ‘Østre Alle’. Turn right on ‘Nyhavnsgade’ (where road signs point towards ‘Centrum’) and shortly after turn right again on ‘Stuhrsvej’. Immediately after this turn, turn right again on ‘Værftsvej’ and drive past ‘Soyagade’ on your left and continue onto Rapsgade 4, where the venue Platform4 is situated.

Coming from the north on highway E45, drive off the highway at the off ramp towards ‘Aalborg C / Aalborg V’ and follow the road that soon turns into ‘Østre Alle’. Turn right on ‘Nyhavnsgade’ (where road signs point towards ‘Centrum’) and shortly after turn right again on ‘Stuhrsvej’. Immediately after this turn, turn right again on ‘Værftsvej’ and drive past ‘Soyagade’ on your left and continue onto Rapsgade 4, where the venue Platform4 is situated.

By train:
Coming from either north (from ‘Frederikshavn’) or from the south (’Copenhagen’ - or Germany), get off at ‘Aalborg Station’ and go to Aalborg Bus Terminal next to the train station. Take bus line 17 towards ‘Saltumvej (Nord)’. Get off at ‘Østerbro v/ Bonnesensgade’ - and walk the last bit (approx. 3 minutes walk) to Platform4.

By bus:
Take any line to Aalborg Bus Terminal and change to bus line 17 towards ‘Saltumvej (Nord)’. Get off at ‘Østerbro v/ Bonnesensgade’ - and walk the last bit (approx. 3 minutes walk) to Platform4.

By air:
Platform4 is located only a 15-minute cab ride from Aalborg Airport (AAL). Several airlines fly there - either direct or via Copenhagen Airport (CPH). In particular should be mentioned the low-cost Norwegian Airlines, that fly direct to Aalborg from all over Scandinavia, London and several other European airports - see www.norwegian.no
Trains (see above) run directly from Copenhagen Airport terminal 3 to Aalborg.

• SCREENINGS, PRESENTATIONS AND WORKSHOPS:
In the daytime Saturday will be screenings and workshops with free admission for all interested. Also participation in the workshops is free, although you must register in advance. Write to info@platform4.dk to sign up. No requirements are needed to participate, other than curiosity towards the 8-bit realm. See other section on this website for more information.

• FOOD AND DRINKS:
A well-assorted bar will be present in the festival hall selling a wide range of beer, drinks, sodas, sandwiches and snacks. It is not allowed to bring your own food or drinks into the venue.
No alcohol will be served to minor under the age of 18.

• CREDIT CARDS:
Credit cards are not accepted at the venue; only cash.

• HANDICAP FACILITIES:
Platform4 has all necessary facilities to accommodate wheel chair users.
